DO YOU WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY?
When I ask audiences, “Who wants to make more money?” everyone—yes, everyone—raises their hands. Truth be told, they all deserve to make more money. You deserve to make more money too. But what will you do about it?
As I discussed in other blog posts recently, Einstein said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” and “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
Everyone wants to make more money, but few people are doing anything different in their business to make that happen. Instead, they are doing the same thing over again and expecting different results. Don’t you want this year will be better than last year? Are you hoping it will be better? Well, hope is not the best strategy when it comes to running a successful business and making more money. Hope is essentially trying to solve your problems with the same level of thinking that created them.
It takes discipline to step out of your comfort zone and do something other than what you have always done. It takes discipline to make real changes rather than settle for the status quo. It takes discipline and doing things differently to make more money this year than you did last year and you deserve to make more money.
Many business owners know what to do but will not do anything about it. They have not turned common sense into common practice. As Brendon Burchard has said, “The difference between knowing and doing is discipline.” Revenue growth is proactive work, not reactive and takes discipline to do things differently. Do something different this year and expect better financial results. As business owners, we need to be intentional about revenue growth by being disciplined to get out of our comfort zones and do things differently.
